Rapid Response Staffing (RRS) is seeking reliable Production Cooks and Dishwashers to join our team at St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. This is a semester-long assignment, immediate start, and the chance to work in a fast-paced campus dining environment.

Positions Available

Production Cooks ($18/hr)

• Shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM OR 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Prepare, cook, and present meals according to standardized recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with prep work, batch cooking, and line service during peak times.

Dishwashers ($15/hr)

• Shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM OR 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Operate dish machines to clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish room, kitchen, and service areas.
• Assist with basic kitchen tasks when needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Requirements (for both positions):

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Clean background check required.
• Valid Food Handler’s Certificate (Texas).
• Prior kitchen experience preferred (especially for cooks).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
• Reliable transportation to/from St. Edward’s University.
• Dress Code: Plain black t-shirt, black restaurant/kitchen pants, non-slip shoes (kitchen-safe).
